Austrian National Housing Design Award

Austrian National Housing Design Award

Since 1985 the Austrian National Housing Design Award has been bestowed annually. In 1991, the prize, set up by the Bausparkasse Wüsenrot and the Gesellschaft für Architektur, was awarded to the architect Adil Lari at the Graz Congress. A distinguished jury of experts chose the innovative design from amongst more than 60 concepts.

The project aims to establish a solar housing on Plabutsch and “matches an urban and energetically optimized residential complex”, said Herbert Walterskirchen, Director General of Wüstenrot, at the awards ceremony.
